MacSefira is a Macintosh application to be used during Sefirat Ha'Omer,
the counting of the 49 days of the Omer between Pesach (Passover)
and Shavuot (Pentecost, Feast of Weeks).
Make MacSefira your startup application and you will be reminded
to count Sefira when you start up your Macintosh each day of the Omer.

In addition to providing a daily reminder of the current day's count, MacSefira will also remind you when it is Rosh Chodesh, Lag B'Omer, or certain other "special"days. MacSefira can also generate a report [PDF sample] of the entire Sefirat Ha'Omer for you to print out and carry with you (or place on your refrigerator door). More detailed information is available when you download MacSefira.

You may reuse MacSefira every year! MacSefira automatically calculates when Pesach (and thereby Sefirat Ha'Omer) occurs on any given year.

download The most recent version of MacSefira (v4.1.4) is available here in compressed Stuffit/BinHex format (67K) and Stuffit/MacBinaryII format (48K).

If you pick up a copy, don't forget to register so that I can let you know when newer versions are available!
